V-Cone primary flow-device

We are happy to present the “rolls royce” of steam (saturated/superheated) - and gas-metering. The V-Cone primary flow-device have, with very short requirements for straightruns, an extremely good accuracy over a turndown of 50:1 over more. It starts measuring from 0 (zero) flow, and has a repeatability as good as +/- 0,1 % from Reynolds number as low as 2000 (laminar flow). For steam measurements we use Flowcomputer model Kessler Ellis Supertrol-II. This has 2 analog outputs – pulse output & Relays and also Modbus/RS485.

Units of measurement may be Sm3, Nm3, Kg, MWH etc. 

As shown in the VIDEO, water injected in the gas upstream the V-Cone gives a homogeneous mixture and uniform flow profile downstream. This is one of the reasons the V-Cone is a super steam flow meter.
